ALDO VANUCCI
Fri 26th FebruaryAldo Vanucci is known as many things to many people: (officially) Plymouth's 14th best dj; Promoter of Plymouth's roadblocked weekly Wonkeylegs night; Catskills Records' producer / remixer / dj; bootleg innovator blending the likes of the Cure with Outkast; Norman Cook's ever reliable crate digger and sample hunter; Sancho Panza's warm up dj at Notting Hill Carnival; not to mention his day job of finding music for adverts. In 2005 he started Ride Records, as well as releasing two eps for Catskills, remixing tracks for Max Sedgely, Jon Kennedy, Tim Love Lee and Dr Rubberfunk, and djing the length and breadth of the UK. His connections with the Big Chill go back a long way as he is a regular at the London bars and also the Festival so when we opened in Bristol it seemed only natural to invite him along for a set of famous party rockers.
