April 10th sees Jalapeno Soundsystem rocking their Saturday night residency at the Big Chill House in the salubrious company of Nu-Funk heroes Good Groove Records.
With two of the funkiest labels on the planet laying down the beats you can be sure of gold-plated block-rocking beats. Jalapeno resident and label boss Trevor Mac will be joined in the main room by Godfather of Garage MJ Cole – a man who is enjoying a major renaissance of the sound he pioneered. In the Good Groove room label boss Slim AKA The Sly Players will be joined by DJ Shepdog for a funksteppin’, reggae breakin, drum and bassin’ beats throwdown.
Best of all it’s free to get in (before 10pm) and only a fiver after. Seems crazy not to.
