SLUTTY FRINGE
Sat 20th MarchAfter even January's blizzards couldn't put the dampers on Slutty Fringe's debut party at The Big Chill House, the boys return with another allstar line-up that blurs the boundaries between electro, indie, disco and house.
Keeping things nice and urgent are one of London's most wanted punk-funk-disco bands Shock Defeat! currently riding high on the release of their critically acclaimed Olympic Village EP. Also performing live are Kinema, with their smart, clever pop that doesn’t come hurtling off a production line but is crafted with much love and precision instead. Meanwhile ensuring the dancefloor never clears, Slutty Fringe's John & Tony are joined by two rising stars of 2010, Rory Phillips and Tronik Youth, whose remixes for the likes of The XX, New Young Pony Club, Gossip, and Simian Mobile Disco have put them at the top of every smart label's wishlist.
That's not all though as take a trip upstairs and you'll find things take a turn for the jackin' as ex-Dissident boss Andy Blake, the New Cross Housing Authority, We Play Disco DJs and Flammette put together a hotmix of chicago house, acid, electro and disco.
