Emma G
DJ Emma G is the ‘Golden Girl’ of the New Zealand D&B scene, she is the former Auckland house renowned for rocking out her signature sound of upbeat, soulful drum & bass in clubs and on radio.
Debuting on Auckland student radio BFM in 1998, she quickly began to make a name for herself on the rave scene and was scouted in 2001 for what was to become a long-time stint hosting weekly on NZ dance radio station George FM. She has held residencies all over Auckland and became the face and signature sound of ‘Liquid Recreation’, one of the city’s most infamous monthly nights she created and toured around the country.
Performing alongside many of the industry’s most respected artists on tour down under eventually led to an inevitable relocation to the UK, to immerse herself in the scene where the heart of Drum & Bass truly began.
Based in London for only a short time has already seen an episode of DNBTV, regular appearances in London, a few in Europe, and her own ‘Superfine’ night rocking in the heart of Shoreditch, proving she’s already set and starting to make moves and grooves in the Northern Hemisphere.

Adwok
This vinyl addicted, dubstep selecta describes his vibe as: ‘Soundsystem Music. You know, the kind of stuff which doesn’t really work on your iPod. It needs to tickle your nostrils; make you almost sneeze, but not quite. That sort of thing.’ So the bassy stuff? ‘Yeah, but the tunes also need character, you know?’
Originally from Wellington, Adwok is a former host of Urban Breaks radio and was part of the Christcurch M*A*S*S*I*V*E. He has been known to rock many favourite outdoor parties and club nights Down Under!
