First of all we welcome a long-time friend of the Warm family, the slo-mo edit king himself, Mark E. For the past 5 years Mark has been crafting hypnotic, soulful disco cuts that have established him as an undisputed master of the genre. Tracks by Janet Jackson, Womack & Womack, and Grace Jones have all been given the Mark E treatment to stunning effect, with his edit of Jackson turning a little-known album track into one of 2007's most talked about floor-fillers and raising the bar for what is expected from an edit. His forays into original production have been just as special, with releases on Under The Shade, Running Back, Endless Flight and his own label Merc showcasing the instantly recognisable Mark E sound. The best of his output has recently been collated onto ‘Works 2005-2009' which features his long sought after edit of Birth Control's ‘Plastic People', a re-imagining of the krautrock standard which was the crowning jewel of his Resident Advisor podcast, a mix that has gone down in legend!
Joining Mark E we welcome Running Back head honcho and walking musical encyclopaedia Gerd Janson. As the head of Running Back Gerd has overseen the release of some of the highest quality house music of the last decade, scoring hit after hit with future club classics by such artists as Mark E, Radio Slave, and Tensnake, who's ‘In The End (I Want You To Cry)' topped almost every best-of the year chart for 2009. And Gerd is no stranger behind the decks himself, holding down a residency at Frankfurt's legendary club Robert Johnson, for whom he has recently recorded a live mix CD. A DJ's DJ through and through: expect the unexpected!

Support comes from Simon Lee and Mock & Toof. As one half of Faze Action Simon has been lending his expert touch to productions of great imagination and depth since the mid-1990s. From the classic ‘In The Trees' on the then fledgling Nuphonic label to their most recent album ‘Stratus Energy' Faze Action remain one of the most unique and enchanting electronic outfits out there and Simon is sure to have a crate-full of delights to serve up.
Mock & Toof have been serving up high-quality, idiosyncratic, and utterly danceable chunks of disco brilliance on labels such as DFA and Mule Musiq since 2006 and their own imprint Tiny Sticks continues to be a consistently surprising one-stop-shop for inventive and essential dance music. With their debut album due to drop in May we're very excited to have the lads joining the party!
Upstairs we welcome our fellow residents for the monthly parties, the disco&co collective, aka Dan Minty, Chris Bamford and Le Cockle. Over the past few years these guys have played from bar to bar, from club to house party but they finally took the step to bring their music to the masses with their residency at Canal 125 in Kings Cross last year. In 2010 they step up again bringing their take on all things disco to The Big Chill House alongside Warm.
