As some of you may already know, The Big Chill Label is releasing a compilation album to celebrate 15 years of The Big Chill Festival (yippee), all profits from which will go to benefit The Big Issue (hurrah).
The concept behind the album is 15 tracks chosen by 15 Big Chill 'significant others'; Norman Jay, Mr Scruff, Pete Lawrence, Tom Middleton, Gilles Peterson, John Hegley, Hexstatic, Coldcut, Tunng, John Shuttleworth and more have all suggested tunes that they feel best express the joie de vivre fest that is The Big Chill, with one track voted for by the regulars on The Big Chill Forum.
The votes have now been counted and the whole process is now in the hands of our licensing department...keep watching this space for more news as we have it!
