New releases from Big Chill Recordings

After the high inspiration that was last summer, Big Chill recording artists Chilled by Nature and Alucidnation both had very productive winters. The results of their respective recording sessions are now released on The Big Chill’s record label.
Chilled by Nature’s ‘Solar Powered’ four-tracker EP is Pete Lawrence’s long-awaited follow-up to ‘Green Shade’, first aired on The Big Chill’s ‘Enchanted 01′ compilation in 1999. Spanning wide-screen cinema textures, system music and pure emotion, it promises to be one of this summer’s essential soundtracks.
Alucidnation’s ‘ep:02′ also contains four tracks: the recently penned ‘Battersea Park’, two versions of ‘Blue Horizon’, and ’24hr’, Bruce Bickerton’s paean to Friday-night pleasures. With Alucidnation’s trademark attention to detail, layered rhythms and melody, ‘ep:02′ makes addictively easy listening.
