The Blunt Sketch Show will present a lumpy mixture of live sketches, funny films and interactive strangeness including films in 3D – themed around celebrity robot wars, Elvis in space, monkey horror and X-rated plasticene.

Danca Da Liberdade (dance of freedom) really know how to dance the Capoeira. A group led by Mestre Guimba from Rio de Janeiro, they teach adults and children’s classes in south London.

Richy Pitch first made his name back in 1996 as resident DJ at internationally renowned hip hop night ‘Scratch’ since which he’s remixed the likes of Roy Ayers. Expect new works alongside some soulful hip hop on a Big Chill tip.

Think hip-hop. Think The Muppets. Think 80s pop. Think DJ Yoda (Duncan Beiny) – probably the only DJ playing the ‘Cheers’ theme tune in hip hop clubs. He’ll reveal the 80s kids’ classic he’s re-soundtracking on the night.

Hexstatic’s comedy hour won’t see them doing stand-up. Instead everybody’s favourite cut-up merchants will be cutting and pasting their all time favourite comedy clips to help you see out the festival with a huge wide grin.

3hedz – Matz, Brian Prankster and Nigel Prankster – present an overview of the global independent hip hop scene and debate the issues that drive the scene. They’ll look at what global contributions hip hop can have now and in the future, both from a cultural perspective and as an ever expanding and sometimes lucrative art form. Lederhosen Lucil is a German-accented mutant with blonde braids, a taste for dried apricots and a growing wardrobe of faux-hosen. Montreal’s Krista Muir’s songs have made her a favourite of Ninja Tune’s Koala, Matador Records’ Mary Timony and LA ska oddsters the Aquabats. Time to hose!

His job is “opening the eyes to a blind nation”. His hobbies are “table tennis, Connect Four tournaments and pointing at gingers”. As politically cutting as he’s incorrect, MC Pitman is impossible to ignore.

No average stand-up, Simon Munnery lists his heroes as Miles Davis, Nietzsche, Bob Dylan, Kierkegaard and Kafka. Perrier Award nominee Simon Munnery has packed out the MediaMix tent twice previously.

Polish jazz sampling hip hoppers and AV wizards Skalpel draw on their homeland’s rich jazz heritage (much of it semi-illegal samizdat recordings). Tonight they reinterprete the ‘Thunderbirds’ live.

Earl Zinger aka Rob Gallagher is a rising star on the growing beat-poetry scene fusing music and the spoken word. Tonight he’s joined by the Les Battersby Cubano Orchestra and promises “hit after hit after stunning hit.”
