BCR AT DE LA WARR PAVILLION LAUNCH

On the 15th and 16th of October 2005 AGK, Eva Abraham and Alucidnation took part in the opening weekend of the newly refurbished De La Warr Pavillion in Bexhill on the East Sussex Coast.
It was amazing weekend with AGK playing early on the Saturday afternoon on the roof of the grade II listed building over looking the sea. Ben Ackland of AGK had always wanted to sing ‘Deeper’ looking at the sea so this was a perfect opportunity and the best place on earth to celebrate the release of their debut album ‘The Liking of Things’ (now on sale in the shop).
Eva Abraham played stunning set on the Sunday lunch time and was presented to the public by the outrageous performance artist Tammy Why Not who came complete with a rubber ring, forties swimsuit, blonde haystack hair and kitten heels.
For the close of the weekend Alucidnation played a sundown set on the roof in the middle of a thunderstorm. As Bruce himself said “It just keeps getting more intense”. This was in response to the double rainbow that appeared in the middle of his set. Magic.
