BIG CHILL RECORDINGS AT DE LA WARR PAVILLION LAUNCH

AGK, Eva Abraham and Alucidnation will all take part in the opening celebrations for the De La Warr Pavillion on the Marina in Bexhill, East Sussex, on the weekend of October 15th/16th.
Other live acts appearing over the weekend include Caged Baby, Ignition, Product 01 and Les Hommes Du Train.
Chris Coco, Ben Osborne and Adam Barry will all play DJ sets.
Admission is free and there will be a major new art exhibition featuring works by over 25 contemporary artists, interactive events and multi media entertainment.
Sea Tongue, a specifically commissioned composition written by Orlando Gough and performed by Shout and over 200 singers, will be staged in the De La Warr’s auditorium on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a massive firework display on the beach outside the pavilion on Saturday night.
Opening at 12 noon on Saturday 15 October, the Train day of partying will feature a combination of live acts and DJs, including bands AGK, Caged Baby, Ignition, Product 01, Les Hommes Du Train. DJs include Chris Coco (acid set) Ben Osborne (Train) and Adam Barry (Train).
Sunday’s chill out program opens with a brass band playing on the roof of the building and will feature sets from singer/ songwriter Eva Abraham and Big Chill stalwart Alucidnation plus Chris Coco, from Radio 1’s Blue Room, presenting his new show with the PAM artists collective – with images projected onto the seafront wall.

About the De La Warr…
Designed by architects Eric Mendelsohn and Serge Chermayeff, the De La Warr Pavilion was the UK‘s first Modernist public building providing accessible culture and entertainment for the people. From this year an £8 million restoration and redevelopment project will enable DLWP to fulfil its original ambitions whilst creating new aspirations for the building and its visitors.
DLWP has a 1,000 capacity venue for live music and clubs, roof and ground floor sun terraces for external events, including an award-winning bandstand, one of the largest contemporary art galleries in South East England, a large studio space, a café/bar with terraces, an indoor bar and a restaurant with outdoor sun terraces, a shop and indoor and outdoor spaces plus panoramic seaviews.
