Pan Electric is an eclectic project lead by Producer Matt Coldrick.
Matt worked as a session guitarist and was Gabrielle’s musical co-director in the years leading up to her Britpop award. Since then he has set up absolute ambient records as a platform for musical experimentation, worked closely with Neil Cowley as Guitarist with Fragile State and now hosts an internet radio show with Brighton’s Totallyradio.com
Pan Electric is the umbrella title for a series of collaborations with
(amongst others) Neil Cowley (Fragile State, Zero 7), S. African musician Pops Mohammed, and a host of supporting Brighton musicians.
Dan Burke’s lush vocal harmony arrangements add to the rich mosaic.
Pan Electric has grown organically over a number of years in tandem with the rise of the chill-out movement in the UK and Europe but owes its allegiance only to the creation of uplifting, beautiful music in whatever way it unfolds.
