Andrea Ahimie-Carthy (aka Trout) tell us…
My involvement in the music industry started about 6 years ago as I commenced DJing under the ‘Trout’ moniker, playing (not mixing) a fairly wide range of styles centred around deep house, disco, funk and soul. A typical Trout session was once described as ‘a diversity of sounds from ‘80s soul to Brook Benton by way of good pop and funk from the future’. I spin mainly for fun, playing only what I want to hear and have been really pleased by people’s reactions at gigs all around the UK including: -
