Future Shorts are curating a special programme for the Big Chill featuring the very best in world short film and music video. The programme will include films by Spike Jonze and Mike Leigh alongside the hottest new directors on the circuit. Highlights include the Bafta-nominated Heavy Metal Drummer, the crazy exploits of Horse, Cowboy and Indian in Le Grand Sommeil from Belgium and much, much more. See and feel different cinema. Future Shorts is Europe’s leading and most innovative short film label. They have created an independent distribution system that allows the flow of challenging and diverse cinema to a national and international audience.
Meanwhile, Future Shorts presents Future Cinema which offers an innovative cinematic experience by fusing film, music, theatre and cabaret together to dazzling effect. The first event at the London Film festival featured more than 200 short films and music videos and over 50 performers including trapeze artists, gypsy bands, roving musicians and burlesque entertainers.
