Infantjoy are always happy to begin things.
Their debut album, their beginning, Where The Night Goes, is a story of beginnings – it was about the beginning of time, about the beginning of a fascination with being a group called Infantjoy, about the beginning of a piece of music, about the beginning of the day, about the beginning of a journey, about how Erik Satie’s thoughts, experiments and conversation’s were at the beginning of a process that led to just about everything you will experience at The Big Chill.
Infantjoy will play the music of Erik Satie, David Sylvian and Infantjoy, always beginning, never ending. Infantjoy will consist of James Banbury and Paul Morley, with Mark Lodge and special ghost star Sarah Nixey.
Their second album, a new beginning, With, features collaboration with among others Isan, Populous, Tunng and Handshake; With will be released on their own ServiceAV label in the early autumn.
When you hear Infantjoy it could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
