The Big Cycle

A few days before The Big Chill festival 2006, like thousands of Big Chillers, film-maker Cal-TV started to make his way to Eastnor with a couple of friends.
Unlike most of his fellow festival-goers, Cal set off from Dublin, by bicycle, with a video camera attached to the bike. Once he had arrived the festival, Cal set-up a video editing suite in Alucidnation’s camper van, and edited the footage into a film which was shown on Sunday evening in the Media Mix Tent.
Cal says, "The whole thing was improvised from start to end. We were very nervous about how it would go down as the concept is rather random! We had a fantastic time doing it, and we are trying to think up of a more novel way of travelling next year, maybe hot air balloon…"
