Mar Del Plata – The Sound Capsule
January 10th, 2007 by rui
Mar del Plata is the sound of sunrise over the Pacific. Proper, old-school ambient music, where Momo’s beautiful, wordless voice floats ethereally over layers after of gorgeous, melodic synth, keyboard and piano.
Produced and written by Dylan Yanez (aka the DF Tram – transatlantic Big Chill festival DJ and the Forum’s San Francisco correspondant) and Bob Bertucci, with vocals by Momo. In Dylans own words….
"Collaborating for over two years, The Sound Capsule has been creating a deep chill sound that harks back to a time of ambience forgotten."
Look out for their debut album "Enter The Sound Capsule". More info about The Sound Capsule can be found on their website www.ambi-sonic.com
You can find Mar del Plata on Readers Wavs, and it also featured on rui boomclick’s guest mix on The Deep End – Paul Noble’s Big Chill radio show on Chill DAB.
