Fancy Camping

March 21st, 2007 by

Fancy CampingThere are several options for sleeping at The Big Chill – you can bring your own tent to camp, bring your campervan, or you can rent a tent, a tipi, a caravan or – for the first time at The Big Chill – a podpad.

Easy Camping
If you don’t own a tent, want to lighten your load and avoid erection stress, or if you simply fancy a bit of posh camping, you can rent ready pitched tents from Tangerine Fields. They will prepare your canvas (or wheeled) palace so all you have to do when you turn up onsite is party. They have 2, 4 and 6 man tents ready filled with airbeds and new sleeping bags. And when you leave the sleeping bags will be given to the homeless charity Crisis. Lovely.

To book a tent with Tangerine Fields, visit them here.

DIY Camping
Campsites offer General, Quiet, Family, and Accessible camping options for you, if you want to bring your own tent and gazebo. Camping is included in the cost of a festival ticket.

Camper Van Camping
There is a campsite dedicated to live-in vehicles – to stay there in your own camper van you will need to buy a live-in vehicle pass in advance of the festival. Live in vehicle tickets have now sold out.

Boutique Camping options have now sold out.
