We Are One

There is a wise part of you that, even right now as you read this, knows it is, and always will be, deeply connected with everything and everybody. You may have felt aware of this connection when you have been totally in your element, when you have been in places of profound natural beauty, when in the zone skiing or diving, or when in the middle of a packed dancefloor or festival tent. It is in these moments that we sense that we are far, far more than the jobs we do, the emotions we have and even the names we are called.
In other words, we are not the cars that we do or don’t drive.
We are not the houses that we do or don’t own.
We are not our names, nor our titles.
We are not even our talents.
We are much, much more than this.
We are an interconnected part of one singular universal reality. Something people call the Oneness.
Often however, we dwell in the past and obsess about the future, which means we miss out on fully experiencing life right now in the richness of the moment.
Once we get fully into the now we can let go of needing anything to be different and we realise we are free to be ourselves. Free to be in our element. And then being out in the world becomes endlessly exhilerating and exciting.
