More line up!

The latest additions to the line-up for Eastnor bring more diversity and quality to the line up. Pete Lawrences talks us through…
The Go! Team
Maximum excitement, musical chaos and unlikely hybrids from Brighton’s brightest, making their long awaited Big Chill debut.
New Young Pony Club
In our opinion, the hottest pop dance ticket at the moment. Taking influences from new wave bands such as Talking Heads and Blondie and combining them with dance rhythms and synths, they are perhaps more deserving of the ironic ‘new rave’ tag than many other bands in the sub-genre, though, of course, they’d probably deny it.
Elmore Judd
Another BC debut though we’ve been following them with interest for a while now - previewing their forthcoming album ‘Insect Funk’, a musical melange ranging from between-the-sheets soul and P-funk to art-school disco, rock avant gardism, hip hip and African music, horror soundtracks and jazz.
Quiet Village
A DJ set from the pioneers of modern psychedelia. There’s a new abum about to drop too, following their highly acclaim remixes of Gorillaz, Black Devil Disco Club and James Yorkston.
Akasha
A new name at the Chill, Charlie Casey and Damian Hand’s own unique brand of cheeky playful pop and funk contains a dazzling array of influences and reference points. With a new album due this summer with guest vocalist Sarah Cracknell, they look set to make quite an impact.
John Metcalfe
Making a triumphant return to The Big Chill, John’s Sanctuary set last year was raved about by many and made new ground fusing electronica and modern classical composition. We rated it so highly that that we’ve asked the back for a repeat.
Music For Dreams
Arguably Denmark’s finest label at the moment, led by DJ Kenneth Bager, their extended slot on Sanctuary will feature live sets from Boom Clap Bachelors and Hess Is More.
Piney Gir
Old school country with a big city edge. Their dancing girls will also be there to teach you how to hoe down.
Sheelanagig
Musical melting pot mayhem : western swing meeting Irish reels, manouche ‘gypsy jazz’, catching eastern European melodies, Arabic tunes wafting over salsa beats and tabla putting a spring into ska fuelled klezmer.
The Swingle Singers
As well as appearing with Schlomo as part of the human beatbox choir, The Swingles have added a guest appearance at Sunday night’s After Hours ambient sessions in the Club Tent
Jacquamore
Returns with her irreverent trademark classical Sunday lunchtime mash up.
Who needs a stage?!
The Biggabush Magic Drum Orchestra. Big Chill stalwart Glyn Bush with his new 10 piece project playing a range of samba, Afro, Cuban, hip hop and ragga rhythms, all on percussion will be playing throughout the site, as will new Tim ‘Love’ Lee proteges Sargasso Trio.
