Winners!
October 26th, 2007 by rui
The feedback from our annual festival survey is invaluable when planning the next year’s festival. This year, almost 2000 Big Chillers took the time to tell us what they thought of the festival - and thank-you to every single one of you who took the time to tell us about your experience at Eastnor.
As an extra thank-you, we have stuck some digital pins in the results spreadsheet to select some winners at random - each winner scoops one of these prizes:
The Big Chill 2008 Festival ticket
Nine months of eager anticipation followed by the best weekend of the year. What a prize!
The Big Chill iPod nano
A super-sexy iPod nano embossed by The Big Chill. Only a few of these have been made - so it’s a talking point that also stuffs your ears with tunes.
Dinner for Two at The Big Chill House
Two courses and a bottle of wine any day or evening during November.
CD Packs
A sublime selection of CDs from Big Chill Recordings including Tom Middleton’s ‘Lifetracks’, Chilled by Nature’s ‘Under One Sun’, Mr Scruff’s Big Chill Classics, AGK’s ‘The Liking of Things’ and the classic compilation ‘Glisten’.
Have you been lucky? Have you? Find out right now as we applaud the winners…

We’ll leave the last word to a couple of the winners… Richard Jones from Darlington says of his iPod win ‘it shows that the Big Chill looks after its faithful followers up and down the country, not just in London!’, while Rupi Panesar of South East London said he had ‘nothing particularly profound to say apart from this simply adds to what was the best weekend of 2007!’
Bonnie ‘Boz’ Hall (pictured) says ‘I am SO excited to have won a ticket to next years Big Chill!!! I cannot wait and knowing I’ll be going to the big chill again next summer will get me through my winter blues. Thanks so much. I can’t wait to sample the delights of the tea and toast stall again, wear my cow’girl’ hat and have a boogie in my wellies!! Thank you!!
John Tillston says ‘I don’t usually fill in any online survey stuff as I tend to feel that it doesn’t really matter but after my first Big Chill I really wanted everyone involved to know just how much I’d enjoyed it ! It has to rate as the best event I’ve ever attended and my partner and I were already organising next year before we’d even arrived home. Thanks again for what can only be described as a truly life changing experience.’
