Milky Disco – Biography
After the success of last years Milky Disco evening in the dance tent, the Milky Disco crew return to provide you with more super cosmic jams from the likes of Hatchback, Sorcerer, Manuel Gottsching, Lindstrom and oodles of other space disco groovers.
This year instead of the full on assault we have a more slinky stripped down affair with sets from Black Mustang and Gatto Fritto. Black Mustang’s ‘Mad as Hell’ with Kerrier District (aka Luke Vibert who is also on the bill at this years festival) was one of the standout tracks on last year’s Milky Disco compilation (Lo Recordings) and their new 12” with Big Chill founder Pete Lawrence, the Swingle Singers and Windsurf is out in August.

Gatto Fritto are one of the hottest underground new disco acts around at the moment, their releases on the Dissident label have all sold out on release with the last one being described as ‘all bouncy guitars and beautiful atmospherics with a groovily understated bass and a generally upbeat attitude to send you into autumn with a big smile on your face’. And who are we to argue?
