Ty presents the Guardian’s first Big Chill podcast, highlighting some of this year’s spoken word content at the festival.

From the Words and Motion tent we hear Ital Source and Kim Trusty’s Inspire Me, the playful collective D’Archetypes take on Jolene, and we learn what the legendary Jamaican poet Jean Binta Breeze has to say about poverty in the developing world. We catch Bill Bailey’s set in the comedy tent and author Toby Litt reads an extract from his new book: I Play the Drums in a Band called OK.

Ty also talks to John Hegley about what it really means to be a performance poet, wanders down to the CDR tent to see what music the festival-goers are bringing in to be played in the Sauza tent, plus he goes to the croquet field to do a little chilling.
