DJ Ayres and Ali B

February 6th, 2009 by

Friday 13th may be unlucky for some, but certainly not those who make their way to The Big Chill House, as they’re in for a night of boundary smashing, genre hopping musical goodness from two party starting behemoths, NYC’s DJ Ayres and London’s very own DJ Ali B.

The party starts at 9pm, and as always at The Big Chill House at the weekend, entry is free before 10pm and only £5 after.

DJ Ayres (The Rub, NYC)

Originally from Mississippi, DJ Ayres got his start in upstate New York spinning hip-hop on college radio and at parties. His monthly Brooklyn residency The Rub has blown him up into one of the most in-demand DJs in America at the moment. He is known for playing a wild range of music, from rap to house, bass, reggae, rock-n-roll and classics and of course B-more. For more info and mixtapes, check here and www.myspace.com/djayres.
