caught the tour at glasgow in may and it was brilliant,his solo stuff was great and there was plenty of talking heads material,air, heaven,once in a lifetime and a great version of burning down the house to name a few.never thought i’d see a gig like it again then he announced an extra date in edinburgh this saturday,can’t wait.the man is the greatest living scot.make sure you see him.

ive just been to see david and co at the royal festival hall in london, i have to agree with the comments here, this man is a genius and is at the very foundation of conceptual productions. magical gig.

I saw David at the Symphony Hall this weekend – just about the best gig ever! He played a few tracks of his new album with Eno, but then got stuck into a whole host of Head’s classics. It was almost like watching Stop Making Sense, and his band are fantastic. ‘Life during wartime’ was a belter – I’d almost say it was as if I’ve just seen Talking Heads – the gig was THAT good!
I’m really looking forward to seeing it all again at the Chill – promises to be fantastic. You will NOT be able to stand still!

@ Lozza – if you mean you saw him at Glasto ’97 on the World Stage, then I was there too – caught most of his set and it was brilliant – can’t wait to see him again!

I am delighted that Mr Byrne will be gracing the Big Chill. He is an awesome talent and a great performer. Those who don’t know much of him or the Talking Heads stuff should check out the movie, ‘stop making sense’. its magical and a must see for any music fan.. enjoy! (and look out for the track ‘Life During Wartime’). I’m sure his gig will be memorable…
