Amazing to see this flag flying again! And what excellent timing, for a return to form from Mr Prolific – But – Underexposed himself, as his wonderful album “The Huddle House” has just secured a European deal with Maquis Records in Paris.
(Of course the recent rebirth of Young Marble Giants as a gigging band helps too….)
Featuring brother, fellow YMG-er and long-time musical sidekick, Andrew Moxham on drums and the ineffable Louis Philippe on guitar and harmony vocals, this manifestation of The G!st promises summery mellowness with songs ranging from ’81-’09, including the Rough Trade classic “Love At First Sight” and a trove of melodic and upbeat tunes for the pleasantly refreshed, thinking rock fan’s dancing feet!
