You can get involved at this year’s Big Chill festival, as a volunteer steward, on the Leave No Trace team, or as a member of bar staff…
Bar staff for The Big Chill 2009
Are you interested in becoming a member of The Big Chill’s bar staff at Eastnor this year? Click above for more information, and application details.
Join the Leave No Trace litter team
Be a part of the recycling crew this year – jobs include litter-picking, sorting recyclables and emptying bins.
Stewarding is a great opportunity to get involved with a unique event and help to make it a weekend to remember. You will effectively be the eyes and ears of the festival; ensuring the safety and comfort of the public and assisting in the running of a successful event.

I am currently living in Bromesberrow (around 2 miles away from Eastnor) with my partner Helen. She is booked to work in the healing field as a massage therapist. It would be a great opportunity to join the team of workers on the site. I would like to offer my diligence, enthusiasm and experience to the positions offered. I am happy to work in any of the positions offered, as i would be happy to be in the festival environment.
My preferred position would be at the bar, as i have plenty of previous experience. However, i am a good communicator, am affable and approachable, and am able to project calm and confidence, so stewarding would follow as a strong second choice.
I look forward to your response to this application.
Sam Colclough.

Hi Sam,
you’ll need to contact Creative Events (details above) if you’re interested in working on a bar at this year’s festival, or follow the stewarding link above for more info on how to apply for one of these positions.
Thanks!

Hi !
I’m Jonathan and i have already sent you a message last week to ask you if it was possible for me to work for The Big Chill as a volunteer.
I wanted to be a “welcome agent” for the French bands who are to play during the festival.
I’ll be able to guide them through the different areas, being the link between the festival crew and them, and get into contact with them to provide anything they could need (as a matter of comfort, details about the organisation…).
As i told you in my previous message, i havve been helping in that way for about 10 years now. I have worked on nearly all the different stages of the organisation and the running of many festivals in France.
I’m waiting eagerly for your answer. . .
Jonathan

hi
me, brendon, and my mate, danny, were wondering if we could get a small job on the big chill radio as we both want to be radio presenters when we are older. we are both curently 12 thats why were only expecting a small job too start with if any. we are both funny and friendly people and feel that we would make good radio presenters. we both also enjoy an extremely wide range of music from the verve and the script to linkin park and the prodigy and many others. we hope you reply and give us the best oppurtunity to become radio presenters. we are both also in a band together so have even more experience in music.

Hi,
I am promoting myself for events and festivals around UK, therefore I was wondering wether you could help me with relevant information on how to work for the Big Chill as an indipendent Shiatsu practitioner and chair massage practitioner.
I hope you can come back to me with cost and other necessary details.

Hi,
My name is Francie Clark, I am 18 years old and extremely interested in applying to work at The Big Chill. I am Head Girl of Gresham’s School, and would work voluntarily if wished.
I live in Malvern, Worcestershire and am happy to do any hours and times.
Would be great if you could get in touch, and I could send through a prepared CV
Thanks
