I Spit on Your Rave - Be a part of this celluloid chiller!
June 16th, 2009 by JoeDo you ever find yourself feeling like a Zombie? Walking mindlessly towards some preordained destination, groaning, grunting and perfecting a dead eyed stare? Do you call it the ‘morning commute’? Well for this year’s Big Chill Festival, we’re giving you the chance to become a zombie and help our attempt to get into The Guinness Book of Records, when Warp Films and Film4 start shooting the world’s biggest (and first) audience participation zombie movie on Thursday night of the Festival.
Check out the I Spit On Your Rave mini-site now!!
Warp Films (the people who brough you modern British classics such as Dead Man’s Shoes and This is England, not to mention the twisted artistic vision of Chris Cunningham) and Film Four and The Big Chill Festival are asking YOU to don all the undead garb, tilt your head, go slack jawed, stiff kneed, outstrech your arms and be in one of the biggest hoards of undead to be caught on camera.
Filming begins on Thursday 6th August at this year’s Big Chill – giving festival-goers an additional day of festivities. The co-production will use thousands of Zombie costumed ticket holders, not to mention vats of make-up, to swell the cast numbers and enter the Guinness Book of World Records for of the “Most Amount of Zombies Captured on Camera”.
Click here for the I Spit on Your Rave mini site to find out how to get involved, also start following the organisers on Twitter and Facebook for up to the minute updates on what, where and when it’s happening.

Can people who are working the Big Chill get involved in this. What type of zombie horde are you after? The fast ‘ infected ‘ type or the traditional shambling type? Just thinking on what costum to wear! This sounds Awesome!

Hey there, i have already bought my ticket inconjunction national rail before i knew about this and they said they can change it to the zombie coach but nees the number of the coaches that are going up to be able to do it, if anyone know what this number i spls let me know!! Without the number i can’t change and must be demoted to the normal non zombie bus, boo hoo!!thanks
July 14th, 2009 at 12:27 am
National Express should be able to give you bus details (afraid we don’t have that info);

Thats my point though they don’t have the numbers of the coach and said i can only get it by finding someone who has bought a ticket already and has a coach number on their ticket, so i am looking for someone who has bought a ticket and may have a coach number pls

Can we come as fancy dress zombies? I have last years white sports day clothes that I could recycle. Or is it more the traditional zombie look you are after??!
July 23rd, 2009 at 4:04 pm
I am coming to the festival with my baby - i have always wanted to dress him up as one the undead. Do you have a lower age limit for your zombies?
August 4th, 2009 at 2:57 pm
So are we supposed to actually arrive dressed as Zombies? I was under the impression that we were but now not so sure…..
We were going to get ready before leaving but maybe getting ready when there would be better…

I’m mulling whether to come as Alan Partridge Zombie complete with biscuits on face and shower cap
