For those that don’t know – give us a brief introduction to who you are and what you do:
My name is Oliver Rant. I like to make and play music I was too middle class to openly enjoy the first time around, huzzah! Originally from High Wycombe before moving to Bristol where I honed my craft with my dear friend Julio Bashmore, currently residing in London making music for thugs to make love to.
The best thing about what you do is…
Getting people south of Birmingham to dance to my inherited and extensive collection of Tiday Trax 12″.

What are you working on at present?
A few remixes for a brilliant band called Is Tropical, another remix for a Berlin producer who’s about to have his first official release called Leo Diamond and tidying up my own bootleg remix of 187 lock down – Gunman. I’m also getting ready to head back to Europe for a few dates late spring / early summer making sure my live set is nice and tidy.
Finally, you’re playing soon at Big Chill Presents, what can our crowd expect from you?
A trans-decade mess of vocal euro house, impertinent 2 step classics and hard house piano stabs.
