We want YOU for Chillers’ Spaces!

It’s that time of year again when we ask ‘What would you do with some space at the festival?’ Did you visit the Lost Picture Show last year? Did you marvel at the interactive sampling, tune creating wonders of The Samplelist? Or perhaps you discovered the simple pleasure of knocking balls through hoops in a game of croquet? Well, just like the infamous Disco Shed, these ideas all began deep in the brain of a Chiller and grew from an email sent to BCHQ!
Almost anything is considered, although Chillers’ Spaces cannot contain a bar. We need to know how many people will be involved with the idea, why you want to do it, why your fellow Chillers would like it, and how much space you would require. We can provide production assistance. So, if you’ve got a bright idea, email us at chillersspaces@bigchill.net and you might find yourself entertaining your fellow Chillers this year!

I would definately have to have an Ambient and Triphop chillout cotch lounge! It would involve a very dark tent, with some of the most chilled and laid back music from the likes of royksopp, sigur ros, thievery corporation, Helios to name but a few epics. There would be ambient/trippy lighting, the aroma of incense and the most ‘cotch’ seating consisting of beanbags.
Every chiller would have to absolutely love this, because it is quite simply chilling at its greatest level- appreciating the human senses – in particularly the love for chilled out good music.
p.s. Iin addition to the above, im a chillout/triphopy/ambient fanatic. i have a HUGE collection of such music. I’m sure people would come a long just to check out and listen to some awesome, obscure chill bands they have never heard off before
