The Big Chill Presents… Mount Kimbie
April 9th, 2010 by sparky
Joining Joy Orbison for his Big Chill Presents debut on April 23rd will be Mount Kimbie, a brand new production duo that eludes classification. Based in London, they have developed a truly unique sound whose experimental rhythms lend themselves to the fringes of dubstep, wonky and hip hop, but ooze with emotion and echoing ambient soundscapes that take the listener to an entirely different place.
We grabbed 5 minutes with Kai and Dom…

1. Any track by Actress
2. James Blake – Give a Man a Rod
3.Lady Gaga & Beyonce – Telephone

5. Finally, you’re playing soon at Big Chill Presents, what can our crowd expect from you?
Bad singing, loops slipping out of time and one random drunk person heckling us to play something they can dance to.
