ActionAid would like to say a massive thank you to Chillers who took action at this year’s festival and supported their campaign to put hunger back in the headlines. Seven thousand festival-goers joined the campaign to make world leaders tackle the hunger scandal.

There are some amazing photos from ActionAid’s four days at the festival, including portraits of thousands of people doing their bit to end hunger by making their own front page news. You can check out all their photos here.

Hunger affects a billion people worldwide, damaging their health, their work, and their children’s chances of an education.

Ten years ago hunger was big news. Everyone was talking about it, and world leaders made a promise to halve hunger by 2015. Since then the number of people going hungry has gone up, not down. They will break their promise unless they take urgent action and back a global rescue package at the next UN summit in September.

It’s not too late to take action, so get involved today by telling the new development Minister, Andrew Mitchell, to pledge his support for ending hunger – please click here to find out more.

ActionAid is a global movement, working to end poverty. You can find out more here.
