Sketching The Fabric of the Human Body : Life Drawing Class

Every day from 2 to 6pm on the hill in The Arts Trail area
A unique and exciting event amongst nature and music, with an emphasis on performance and the beautiful surroundings of the Eastnor Deer Park and lake A relaxing atmosphere will join together with art making to bring you the amazing opportunity to learn, practice or just enjoy sketching the human body in all its shapes and forms. Music will inspire your creativity, while the splendid environment will be the perfect setting for your masterpieces…
A skillful tutor, Andrew Bass will be at hand to assist you and give you tips on techniques to help you in developing confidence with your drawing. Andrew will be ably assisted by Jaime Valtierra. Charcoal and paper will be provided and towards the end there will be an opportunity to display the drawings…all this included in your festival ticket!
Friday: Gymnast Female Model
Saturday: Michelangelo’s David look alike Male Model
Sunday: A mother, a father and a seven month old in utero
With tuition in:
• Exercises to gain an understanding of life drawing processes
• Experimentation with the figure
• Anatomy
• Strategic observation of light and shadow
• Interpretation of tone and colour
Sessions will be designed to be engaging and fun and will run a similar course each day, but with scope for individuals to develop their skills if they return.
