Electrelane play the Deer Park Stage
August 5th, 2011 by Jen
Four ladies, guitar-heavy, a forever-changing sound. Electrelane used to carry a more nineties rock sound and are less like their female contemporaries Warpaint with a noisier sound peppered with synth.
The band have just returned from a short hiatus and kept between-song chat toa minimum nonetheless entertaini g the small but keen crowd. The band have led a strong but modest following for a many years now and played crowd-pleasers such as Birds and excited their fans with a cheeky cover of Small Town Boy by Bronski Beat. A lovely start to the Chill.
