James Blake plays the Deer Park Stage…

James Blake played the first live set on the Deer Park Stage tonight, drawing a large crowd eager to hear tracks from his debut album.
Playing songs from the Mercury Prize nominated record and his earlier EPs, Blake was joined by a guitarist and drummer to recreate his work live.
“I was here last year working in a bar,” he told the audience. “A lot’s happened since then.”
Finishing on album track ‘The Wilhelm Scream’, Blake thanked his fans before filling the soundsystem with a bassy farewell.
