DJ Jay Karim is one half of Caze Nove with Firas, he plays House music with a groove and he loves kit kats! We’re very lucky to have both Jay and Firas perform at our Filthy Few All Dayer at the Big Chill Bar tomorrow night, alongside Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor and Green Gartside from Scritti Politti. We catch up with Jay to find out what he loves and hates about being a DJ

What’s the best experience you’ve had as a DJ?
Playing a billion feet up a mountain, in the Alps.
And the worst?
DJ’ing at places with really bad soundsystems with no monitors and turntables which barely work due to DJs placing a full pint of beer on the turntable, and predictably knocking it over at some point, causing damage to the equipment…idiots! Happens far too often!
What’s the best venue you’ve DJ’ed in? (other than the Big Chill of course!)
