Alex Kenning has been putting on superb disco parties for 6 years across London at a string of venues, has played stomping festival gigs that have taken him across the globe and has worked with many of the regulars on the London Party scene- phew! Now Alex is joining us at the Big Chill Bar for our Filthy Few All Dayer, an all day affair of drinking, dancing and fine tunes- we can’t wait! What’s the best experience you’ve had as a DJ?

Closing Lake Of Stars festival in Malawi back in 2007 was a proper buzz… perfect setting, great crowd & tasty Malawi Gin!

And the worst

I tried doing a mix on my iPhone on the bus the other day, and that was pretty shit… gonna stick to the CDJs for now…

What’s the best venue you’ve DJ’ed in?

I’ve DJ’ed a couple of times at Garden Festival (Croatia) and Wordwide festival (France), overlooking the sea – they’re pretty special locations. But then, a grimey East London warehouse is a different kind of special… so they get joint first!
