Funkystepz is made up of three producers and one DJ under the names of Stimpy, Renay, Twitch and DJ Maxsin, talented and creative individuals who decided to come together and fusion their ideas. We’re very much looking forward to witnessing this fusion for ourselves at our How’s My Raving? Worst Xmas Party on Friday, where Maxsin will be DJ’ing back to back with Fuzzy Logik featuring live PA from Jada Pearl in a Safe & Sound Showcase. If you’re coming down to the Big Chill House then watch out, this is going to be one off-the-hook set! We have a chat with Maxsin who tells us about his best and worst DJ moments…

What’s the best experience you’ve had as a DJ?
DJ’ing at Bestival in Isle of White. The crowd was crazy, so many vibes, I love festivals!
And the worst?
DJ’ing at a commercial club that never wanted to hear what I had to play, they just wanted chart music and the promoter was trying to educate them. Good try from him though.
What’s the best venue you’ve DJ’ed in?
Social Club in Paris had good vibes, I loved it! And you have to love Fabric
I couldn’t get through the day without…
