Sundaze Present Belleville Rendezvous Re-animated - Artist Profile
Soyo and The Only Michael of Sheffield downtempo favourites Animat, take a break from their writing and recording schedule to present a DJ /live soundtrack to the award winning French animated movie 'Belleville Rendezvous.'Sylvain Chomet's brilliantly imaginative cinematic ode to love, courage and bicycles will be rescored with a mixture of DJ cuts, live improvised elements and specially composed musical sections by the duo and special guest Ed Carter (Winter North Atlantic).
As members of the Sundaze collective, Soyo and Michael rocked the Mediamix tent in 2003 with their epic version of 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind', and this one is shaping up to be just as special.
