What's your day job?Strategy & Communications Director, The Nest.
When and where was your BC compère debut?
The Enchanted Garden, 2001. I compéred all three days on the Sanctuary Stage.
What stage are you on?
My old favourite with a new name - the Castle Stage.
What are you personally looking forward to on your stage?
That magical hour when day turns into night. So whoever’s on at that time.
Any embarrassing or difficult compère moments to share?
Getting the crowd to give Bonobo a big welcome when he still had his head stuck in his record bag... it was a bit of a shock for the poor fellow. Otherwise it would have to be losing my voice during EG2002 and asking the crew for hot lemon and ginger. I still get paid out for that one.
Tell us one of your best compèring moments!
I rather enjoyed the crowd chanting ‘Freddie, Freddie’ last year. All for Fat Freddy’s Drop, of course.
