Meet The Compères... Enchanted Gordon
What's your day job?Writer / Journalist / community media manager.
When and where was your BC compère debut?
Sanctuary, Eastnor Castle, 2004.
What stage are you on?
Sanctuary.
What are you looking forward to on your stage over the weekend?
It's often the ones you don't know that provide the biggest thrill, and I'm really intrigued by George Chatzis. His track on the new Take Me Home compilation is just stunning.
Any embarassing or difficult compère moments to share?
Christian Kleine and FS Blumm of Morr Records fame shared a set last year and I had to introduce them separately. For complicated reasons (not all related to my stupidity) I managed to introduce Frank Blumm with a glowing tribute to... Christian Kleine. They were very nice about it.
Tell us one of your best compère moments?
Sharing a stage for a few seconds with Jerry Dammers last year was a lifelong dream come true. Although getting a little kiss on the cheek from Susanna of the Magical Orchestra was pretty special too.
If all else fails?
There's always the 'Got any nails?' joke.
My personal Big Chill highlight so far has been...
Sitting alongside John Peel at a Mediamix debate.
Top festival tip?
If you can't find your tent, stop looking and stand still. It will soon find you.
Lastly, I'm not posh, I'm...
...only minding this butler for a friend.
