Anne Garner
Anne Garner is a singer/songwriter who has performed worldwide with Cabaret Voltaire, The Orb, Animat and The Irresistible Force.Anne's fifth appearance at The Big Chill this year is the first as a solo artist.
'Remaking the Pearl' by Anne Garner was remixed by some of the world's finest electronica producers, and her current project "Trusting a Twirled World" is an organic progression from her live set over the last few years. These thought-provoking, emotive piano based songs have been widely tipped to redefine contemporary classical/ folk lyricism and composition.
Accompanied by composer/ producer James Murray on guitar, bass & electronics, and The Heritage Orchestra’s own Jon Cottle on cello, she’ll be presenting tracks from ‘Trusting a Twirled World’ as well as a selection of highlights from the ‘Magic and Madness’ LP.
