Teenagers! Stick It On!
Ever fancied being a superstar DJ, well now you can with Stick It On at this year's Big Chill!On Saturday 4th August at the Youth Club Marquee in the Kid's Area, between 6-8pm, Stick It On will be running the 'Dedication Sessions'. It's a chance for festival goers aged between 10- 16 years old to step up to the stage, dedicate their tracks over the mic to a friend, family member or even their pet mongoose & then spin a few of their favourite 'choons' to rock the dance floor!
No DJ experience necessary as technical help will be on hand all night.
Mixing is actively discouraged & musically absolutely anything goes, whatever you want you can Stick It On!
All you need to do is the following:
1. Ask your parents' permission (mums, dads & guardiens, if you want to accompany your children or even have a go yourself, then you're more than welcome)
2. Think up an amusing DJ Name for yourself (the funnier the better)
3. Bring along between 2 - 5 of your favourite tunes on CD or vinyl
4. Rock up to the marquee for 6pm & ask someone to direct you to the Stick It On Crew
Once everything is ready to go, the Stick It On Crew will call you up on stage, introduce you & help you spin your 'choons'.
Then all you have to do is 'shake what yo' mama gave ya & lap up the applause'
All our superstar DJs will receive a Stick It On at The Big Chill Certificate, stickers & badges. We'll also be taking a photo of you 'in the mix' which we'll post on our website at www.stickiton.co.uk so check it out!
