Big Chill Recordings' resident movie mogul Lol Hammond has filed another report from the front line of the UK film industry, with news of his latest project...

"Shooting got underway two weeks ago in Worcestershire on an exciting Myspace / Verti go films collaboration 'Faintheart'. At the helm is award-winning short film director Vito Rocco. The cast features many people found through Myspace as well as a host of established UK talent, including Eddie Marsan (Miami Vice / Vera Drake), Ewan Bremner (Trainspotting), and Jessica Hynes (Spaced / Shaun of the Dead / Royal Family).

Together with Leggo Beast, I've recorded a gothic anthem for the movie titled 'Sleeping with the Dead' which will be fronted by legendary Eighties popster Tenpole Tudor in the film. You can hear an instrumental version of this track if you check out the first hilarious production diaries on the official website. The soundtrack will be coming out through EMI and acts all ready earmarked for the film include David Bowie, Duran Duran, XTC and the amazing Devo.
