The original Manchester vibe is on the road to Eastnor...All those years ago back in the late 90's Fat City were reppin' their own sound, their own dancefloor feeling. Nearly a decade on and their sound has resonated from the darkest corners of the Northern Quarter to become a legendary worldwide dance party.

FLYING LOTUS - LIVE
‘Mysterious and magical’ describes Flying Lotus perfectly. He is one of the most energetic performers of the unstoppable electronic generation and he’s bringing something totally fresh. He has been likened to Madlib and the late J-Dilla but that isn’t the end of the tale...
His beats and sound-scapes are expertly executed. They draw the listener into something completely intense and exciting. A new experience that embraces the bass-heaviness of dubstep, the energy of drum ‘n’ bass, a slice of LA hip hop and a heritage from jazz that is surely in his blood for a man who’s the nephew of Alice Coltrane.
His EP ‘Reset’ on Warp was an incredible success and the album ‘Los Angeles’ is on its way (Released - June 9th 2008 - Warp Records).
CASPA & RUSKO
Caspa and Rusko are considered to be part of a new breed of dubstep talent. They came together through a shared love of dub reggae, drum n bass, garage and, of course, dubstep. (They have individually produced tracks such as ´Cockney Thug´ and ´Rubber Chicken´ favoured by everybody from Sinden to Roni Size). They are proud of their reputations as the party boys of dubstep, bringing humour and danceability to the genre. Fabric chose them above all other dubsteppers to produce the first ever dubstep FabricLive mix. They did not disappoint.
We at Friends and Family are currently head over heels in love with dubstep. After Mala from DMZ´s legendary set at the February London Friends and Family we figured that you feel the same. This time we decided to invite along dubstep´s mischievous younger brother to end the party with a bang. Airhorns at the ready!
TODDLA T's GHETTOBLASTER Ft. SEROCEE
Check Mr T’s C.V and you’ll find it hard to believe that the boy is only 19. Raised on Sheffield’s healthy supply of bashment, dancehall, ragga, bassline, broken beat, Baltimore, fidget and hip hop, he’s had an educational upbringing. As re-mixer du jour he has worked on tracks for Jack Penate, Roisin Murphy and Hot Chip amongst others. His debut release on 1965 records ‘Do You Know’ went down a storm and his ‘Ghettoblaster’ mixtape was voted mix of the year by FACT magazine. His fresh sound has everybody’s ears pricked and they all want a piece.
Cherry picked for his feel good dancehall party vibe we feel sure that Toddla and his trusty sidekick, MC Serocee, will rock the sweatbox.
CHARLIE DARK SNDSYSTEM
It’s difficult to know where to begin… Maybe we’ll start by saying that Charlie is the new Friends and Family resident in London. An incredible honour from such a prolific talent.
He created the sound of Blacktronica, a party that really gave London something to be proud. With its bass heavy soundsystems it was the exciting new party for crowds who came to move!
Charlie is also credited with creating Attica Blues and more recently Charlie Dark’s African Beats tour feat. Mark De Clive-Lowe and Chief Udoh Essiet. Constantly pushing music and performance the SNDSYSTEM will drive the party with his heavy understanding of the need to dance combined with bass, broken beats, hip hop, dub and the list goes on…!
