If you haven't yet noticed, Big Chill Recordings have started putting out some scintillating new releases of late, with many more to come over the next few months. 'Taster04' showcases the talents of Chilled By Nature, Lol Hammond, Yam Yam, Leggo Beast, Laura B, AGK, Eva Abraham and Alucidnation, and includes a collaboration track by Pete Lawrence, Tom Middleton and Bruce Bickerton celebrating ten years of the Big Chill (as featured in Future Magazine) with Pete and Katrina Larkin's ten-year-old Ella joining Bruce Bickerton on vocals.
'Only Happy' by Lol Hammond is diva-delightful, Yam Yam's growling sex-funk struts through 'Bahama Mama'. Chilled By Nature (Pete Lawrence) tinkers through 'Aliki'. Laura B's 'Full Circle' hits Oribital-esque highs and Leggo Beast gets basement-club swanky in the 'Swanky Shovel' mix!
Meantime, if your mind's already made up, the following releases are already available in the Big Chill's online shop at £10 a pop: Alucidnation 'Induction', Leggo Beast 'Thunk', AGK 'The Shortest Romance' and Eva Abraham 'Shadow'.
